Nice & Curly-Curl Me Up Curly Pudding

Nice & Curly Curl Me Up. I was very excited to try this product. I love curly stylers especially pudding & custards for my wash n' go. I got this product from a swap on Swapsack's Facebook page.

This product claims to define, soften and tame your curls. Also claims to condition, and hydrate each curl while nourishing from root to tip to deliver "wet curl" manageability all day long. That's a big claim. Sooooo... Let's see.

This product is similar to my HoneyChile Lush Curl. It's the same color (pink) and same consistency. But unlike the Lush Curl this product is very heavy. It instantly weighed down my fine tresses. I used it on wet hair like it instructs. It also instructed to use after your favorite leave-in umph.... strange...but I didn't because my hair can't take to many products a one time. It's also instructs to use a hooded dryer, diffuser or air dry for best results and after hair has dried separate each curl into final style. Sounds like alot of work!!! I shingled the product into my hair and allowed it to air dry.

My results: my hair was weighed down (see pic) which means either I used to much or this product is too heavy. I dud get curl definition & a great shine. It took hours for my hair to dry & when it did finally dried my hair was somewhat crunchy.

Final thoughts: this product was ok. I'll give it a 3 out of 5. I would probably keep it and used it for Buns since it weighs my hair down-which makes it a good 'slicker'. I didn't care for the scent (orange Push-pop). It didn't flake & was somewhat moisturizing but not enough for my thirsty hair. This product cost 4.99 for 6oz which is an excellent value & size. Also, I love the fact that you can find this product at any beauty supply store. It's by the Rasta Group the same people that does Jamaican Mango & Lime & III Sisters of Nature.

Ingredients: Shea butter, vegetable glycerin, soybean oil, Avocado oil, mango & aloe extract Vitamin E and fragrance to name a few... Too many ingredients to list.
