Camille Rose Naturals Fresh Curl
Like all of her products Fresh Curl smells like cake batter. I am fond of the scent. It has a strange texture (see pic) and unlike any curl refresher mist I've ever used. Its thick and not watery. It comes in a convenient spray bottle.
How I used it:
I used it on wet clean hair and alone. I wanted to see how it faired by itself. I divided my hair into 4 sections and applied it evenly. This product claims to detangle, nourish and revive dry, lifeless curls The Natural Way. I combed it through and unfortunately it was not a good detangler for me. Fresh Curl also made my hair white and foamy looking (see pic). After it dried the whiteness disappeared but my hair felt coated, sticky and slightly matted. My hair was not soft, moisturized or manageable.
Final thoughts: I really wanted to like this product however it did nothing for my hair. This product may work better on thicker curly haired users. Fresh Curl also weighed my thin hair down which is unusual for a curl refresher spray. Maybe I'll try the new formula of this product.
Pros: Scent, spray bottle, slip, good ingredients
Cons: Price, Availability on ground, not moisturizing (for me), too heavy for my hair.
Ingredients: Deionized water, Ricinus Communis (castor) seed oil, Hydrolyzed wheat protein, glycerin, persea gratissima (avocado oil), sodium PCA, BTMS, peach quava, optiphen and Love.
