I received the sample of Naturalist Juicy Leave-in in my April Curlkit. I finally got a chance to try it. People rave about this product and how moisturizing it is. My hair is naturally dry so I was anxious to finally see how it works on my hair.

This product has a fluffy texture and melts upon application into an oil. The juicy leave-in has a cake-like scent. It appears to be light but it has weight to it after you apply it to your hair. Its a bit "greasy" and left my hands feeling that way too oily. This product retails for $22.00 for 8oz and $45.00 for 16oz. How I used it: I started off with freshly washed and conditioned hair. I section of my hair into 4 sections and started applying the product using the shingling method. I then twisted my hair my using the rope twist method.

 

My results: Despite the "greasiness" of this product it gave me great results. My hair was moisturized throughout the 4 days I had it in my hair.

 

Washed hair/Twisted hair: 

 

 

 Rope Twists:

 Finished Twisting...it took 2 hours!!!!!

 Day 2 hair:

 Day 3 hair!!! I untwisted my rope twists.........

 

Final thoughts:

 I really liked the product but it was a bit greasy. I have the sample size and it was good for 2 uses. Would I purchase the 8oz? Probably not unless I can get 50% off. But all in all i'll give it a 4 out of 5.
